Reason
The faculty that identifies and integrates what the senses provide; for Rand, man's only means of knowledge.
Rand held that reason, not faith, feeling or revelation, is the only way to gain knowledge, and that thinking is a choice each person must make. Her concept-formation theory in Introduction to Objectivist Epistemology explains how reason works.
